Annual Geology & Geophysics Open House Join us for our annual rock party! It is a night of dinosaurs, meteorites, volcanoes, gemstones, earthquakes, rock stars, and so much more! Free admissions and open to the public, with limited, free parking in the parking garage at 100 S 1455 E (only floors 2-4). Additional parking in the paid lots south of William Browning Building and east of the A. Ray Olpin University Union. The Samsung Solve for Tomorrow competition invites teachers to lead a group of students in creating a STEM-centered (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) solution that addresses a need in their communities. The contest is open to teachers from all disciplines because great ideas come from teams with diverse backgrounds and skills. Positive change begins with just one idea, but students always create a ripple effect when it comes to innovating for social good. Technology, Engineering, Science, and Math Teacher,
College of Engineering and Technology (CET) at the Utah Valley University is once more celebrating the Engineering and Technology Week. During these celebrations:
- Students will tour the engineering and technology labs at UVU, have lunch and engage in fun hands-on projects sponsored by the UVU students.
- Middle and High School students will receive scholarships for technology-related projects from their schools (see web page below for criteria).
- Students will receive awards and gifts for the winning projects and/or for just visiting UVU.
