STEM Day on the Hill

March 6, 2020 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Utah State Capitol Rotunda
Community Events, STEM Action Center
STEM Day on the Hill celebrates STEM in Utah and welcomes parents, students, educators, industry professionals, and legislators to the Utah State Capitol to engage in hands-on activities focused on STEM education and impact. This year, we will be hosting Utah STEM Signing Day presented by Boeing as a part of STEM Day on the Hill. Just like Signing Day for athletes, Utah STEM Signing Day will celebrate students across the state as they make their commitments to education programs focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. There is a high demand for STEM talent in the United States, and Utah STEM Signing Day will be an opportunity to recognize the top STEM talent in the state in front of Boeing corporate leaders, local elected officials, community partners, and others. Selected students will be invited to a ceremony and special presentation, where they will be recognized in front of their families and our esteemed guests, including Boeing executives and Utah legislators. Date: Friday, March 6, 2020 – 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Location: Utah State Capitol Rotunda For more information, contact David Wicai at davidwicai@utah.gov or 801-538-8747
