Title
Lesson Description

Students will be immersed in the engineering design process as they design, build, and present a classroom-sized solution to a real-world problem. Students will learn to work in a team and communicate results while applying scientific knowledge to systematic design.

This lesson is easily adapted for all grades, K-12, but as-written is designed for 3-6. It can be done in 45 minutes, or across multiple lessons and days. This lesson structure is also available with catapults (forces and motion; trajectory), heat shields (heat transfer, 6th grade), and bridges (forces).
