STEM Action Center & UServeUtah Partner for $50k Federal Grant to Support Utah Nonprofits

The Utah STEM Foundation, the non-profit arm of the Utah STEM Action Center, is pleased to announce its partnership with UServeUtah for a $50,000.00 federal grant for Utah’s nonprofit organizations.  This program will recognize the importance of the integration between STEM and the arts and the need for support of cultural nonprofits.

The COVID-19 pandemic poses a significant financial risk for Utah’s nonprofit organizations working to assist vulnerable populations and support the cultural vibrancy of our state. UServeUtah has set up a fund with this grant that will allocate resources to these organizations to ensure that they can maintain operations as they face an increased need for the services they provide.

UServeUtah COVID-19 funds will support nonprofit programming and services throughout the state. Provided funds will support cultural nonprofits and nonprofits focusing on health and human services, etc.  For more information on how to join this effort and donate, visit USERVE.UTAH.GOV/HELP/.
