Utah Energy Workforce Scholarship

The Governor’s Office of Energy Development is proud to partner with Chevron to advance Utah’s energy workforce by providing scholarships to high school seniors who intend to pursue a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) related course of study at a Utah institution of high learning.

University of Utah PATHS Mentor

PATHS Mentors assist students in completing high school and applying for college, working directly with PATHS students (grades 9-12). They are responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating monthly engagement activities and weekly after-school tutoring. Check out their flyer here.

Red Olive Women in STEM Scholarship

Red Olive is working to bridge the gender gap in computer science, offering scholarship support to encourage more females to pursue CS degrees. The 17% rate of women graduating in computer science is simply not meeting industry demand. Red Olive is determined to change that.

University of Utah’s ACCESS Program for Women in Science and Mathematics

The ACCESS program’s seven-week summer science course is designed to introduce students to university-level study in science and mathematics. During their freshman year, each student is placed in a university research lab working alongside a professional scientist in a field of the student’s choice.

University of Utah’s REFUGES Bridge program

The University of Utah’s REFUGES program is for soon-to-be high school graduates for a seven-week Summer Science and Engineering “bridge” program. This program provides underserved populations with the unique opportunity to live on campus, experience doing research, and meet university faculty.
