Air Pollution Solutions


Students will investigate possible solutions to air pollution in relation to per capita consumption of fossil fuels. Fossil fuels being introduced as the cause, air pollution as the effect. Students will develop an argument to share concerning the solution of their choice.

Objectives
Engage in argument supported by evidence about the effect of per- capita consumption of natural resources on Earth’s systems. Emphasize that these resources are limited and may be non-renewable. Examples of evidence include rates of consumption of food and natural resources such as freshwater, minerals, and energy sources.

Performance Expectations
