Lesson Description

In the Catapult Energy Lab students will learn the concepts of potential and kinetic energy and how they relate to the physics of a catapult. They build a catapult out of Knex building toys and test their catapult, measuring the results. In the lesson documents there is a lesson plan with student worksheet and a pdf of the instructable. The teacher will also need these materials:

  • Knex building set
  • Rubber bands
  • Small ball or object to launch
  • Ruler or measuring tape
